Description
Vintage Armagnacs from Chateau Laballe capture the great spirit of France. For almost 2 centuries, the traditions of making this noble drink have been developing in order to extract and preserve the unique characteristics of the terroir. Carefully grown vines give a unique subtle yet full flavor to the wines produced, thanks to the exceptional characteristics of the soils rich in iron oxide.
Armagnac is distilled by classic continuous distillation in a copper still to maximize flavor retention. The spirits are aged in barrels made in the same region at the last cooper factory, Bartholomo. Armagnacs are aerated 2-3 times a year, but do not leave the calm atmosphere of the 18th century cellar. As soon as Armagnac is bottled, its evolution stops, so in the future it can be stored without fear of changing the taste. Rigorous design rules ensure the richness, complexity and high quality of the Armagnacs Chateau Laballe, Vintage, Bas Armagnac AOC, 1981 .
