Description

The classic vintage Armagnac “Cles des Ducs” Millesime, Armagnac AOC is made from grapes grown in the best part of the Armagnac province – on the red sandy-silty soils of the Ba Armagnac region. From white grapes of traditional “cognac” varieties, harvested in 1970, they created white dry wine by the traditional method. Grape alcohols distilled from the base wine were placed in new and previously used Limousin oak barrels for many years. Regardless of the characteristics of the vintage and the success of the year, the craftsmen select such a profile of Limousin barrels to achieve a long, rich and soft taste with a light woody note.
