Vermouths “Guerin” – a novelty, which is the result of the creativity of winemakers Puy Gaudin and their desire to introduce Pineau des Charentes to the public. Based on wine mixed with Pineau des Charentes and aged in cognac barrels, Guerin drinks represent the innovative vermouth style. Producer Puy Gaudin is developing a wide range of innovative products designed to share the tastes hidden in the treasures that nature presents with as many alcoholic drink connoisseurs as possible. The line was created for fans of Pineau des Charentes, looking for new sensations and emotions. Vermouth will be a great aperitif and a component of cocktails.

“Guerin” Vermouth Blanc is a white vermouth based on white wine, white Pineau des Charentes, caramelized grape juice, herbs and spices (angelica root, cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, nutmeg and orange zest). A feature of Pinot de Charentes wines is their composition: 3/4 of unfermented grape must and 1/4 of cognac alcohol (in this case, aged for at least 2 years). After blending, the mixture is placed in cognac oak barrels for aging for several months.

Guerin Vermouth Blanc was awarded a gold medal at the Concours General Agricole in Brussels in 2018.
