  • “Beaufort Freres” Blanc de Noir Brut Nature is a harmonious, balanced sparkling wine with a rich taste and fresh aroma, made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in organic vineyards in Burgundy. Three brothers Beaufort, sons of Jacques Beaufort worked on wine making: Amory, Constant and Reol. In their work, the brothers adhered to rich family traditions. 2015 was a great year for ripening grapes: fresh, sunny, with plenty of moisture. The taste and aromatic qualities of the harvest were called ideal winemakers. Fermentation with natural, natural yeast took place in old oak barrels, and the base wine was aged for 8 months. This was followed by secondary fermentation in bottles (by the method of Champenoise). After the disgorgement, the wine matured for another 12 months.

The Champagne House of Jacques and Andr Beaufort is an amazing family business, and the way it is now is connected with the philosophy and lifestyle of the current owner Jacques Beaufort – he began managing the estate in 1969. The fact is that Jacques developed an allergy to chemicals that treated vines for pests and diseases. Having spent a lot of time and effort, he cured himself of allergies with the help of homeopathy and aromatherapy and studied the agro-biological methods of growing grapes. Jacques drew for himself the conclusions that “the vines do not tolerate a foreign impact, they are allergic,” and by 1971 he began to apply fertilizers only of plant and animal origin, essential oils, and since 1980, homeopathy, which together improve the immune system vines and support natural defense against disease. Jacques Beaufort says – “Although a healthy grape does not guarantee good wine, it does allow the winemaker to create it.” All grapes used in winemaking exclusively from their own plantations are the Grand Cru Ambonne and Polizi. All production processes occur with the participation of only natural ingredients, and a distinctive feature of the technology is unusually long exposure of champagne. This approach, different from the technologies adopted in other Champagne farms, gives Jacques Beaufort champagne a unique, expressive taste and aroma.

Wine critics who visited this amazing estate in 1995 agreed that the sparkling wines of the House of Jacques Beaufort have a bright personality – this is the characteristic bright fruitiness and unusually silky, rich taste and unique style of many champagnes, which almost do not make modern winemakers : doux millesime (vintage sweet), demi-sec millesime (vintage semi-sweet), doux rose millesime (pink vintage sweet).
Production of the House of Jacques Beaufort has been recognized by wine critics and champagne lovers around the world and continues to add to its “piggy bank” more and more new deserved awards and enthusiastic reviews.
