Description
Rotari, “Flavio” Riserva Brut – sparkling wine made from Chardonnay grapes harvested from vineyards in Valle del Adige, north of Trento. Sparkling wine is kept on the lees for 60 months. This approach provides the wine with an intense and persistent aroma and extremely sophisticated perlyazhem. Rotary, Flavio Riserva Brut is ideal to serve throughout the meal, especially when paired with fish and crustacean dishes.
Rotarys production facilities are located in the heart of the Dolomites. The plant, surrounded by 6 thousand acres of vineyards, is equipped with modern technologies that allow you to create high-quality sparkling wines within one enterprise. The subregion Trentino is a great cradle for growing a vine. Its valleys, mountain peaks, picturesque lakes and forests, enveloped in a mountainous climate, create an ideal environment for Pinot Noir grape varieties, which acquires structure and richness here, and Chardonnay, which shows its freshness and fruitiness. This combination of topography, diversity of microclimate and dedication of professional wine-makers to their work creates a unique, bright, elegant sparkling wine. The whole production process is built on the basis of the classical method, which implies a particularly long aging with yeast, as a result of which sparkling wine acquires a beautiful perlyzh and complexity of the bouquet. In the center of the winery are rooms for aging wines, which can simultaneously be about 8 million bottles. The style of Rotary wines is unique and can be unmistakably determined by the intense bubbles, elegant and refined aroma with tones of bread and golden apples, which make it the best match for Italian and international dishes. The wine company received its name in honor of King Rotary – the ruler of the Lombards, who ruled in the middle of the 7th century. He took part in many military campaigns in Trentino and conquered almost all of Northern Italy. Rotary became the author of the first legal code of the Kingdom of Lombard, written in Latin.
Today, Rotari operates under the auspices of Nosio SpA , a company founded in 1994 that deals with bottling, distribution and brand promotion. It has offices in more than 50 countries of the world. “Nosio” owns two farms in Sicily (“Feudo Arancio” and “Villa Albius”). In total, it is about 1000 hectares of land, of which 650 hectares are already planted with high quality vineyards. Their focus is on such grape varieties as Syrah, Nero d’Avola, Chardonnay and Grillo.
