Description

Vintage wines to create “Ai Suma” harvested late enough to cru vineyards in Rocchetta Tanaro. Uses only the best grapes that undergo a thorough and rigorous selection. Today Barbera – one of the most common varieties of the region. As the son of a winemaker, Giacomo Bologna created in 1961, a small company in the province of Asti Braida, in Piedmont. By the early 80s the company has already produced three star wine “Uchellone” “Bricaud della Bigotta” and “Ai Suma”. Thanks to the care of plants and aging in small French barriques, Bologna was able to shake the wine world, creating a rich and complex wines from varieties that were previously considered only subsidiary. Today the company is successfully managing Anna – Giacomo’s widow and children – Raffaella and Giuseppe.
