Description
Borratella, Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG is an exquisite red dry wine with a rich taste and generous aroma. Created from a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes grown in southwestern Italy in the Tuscany region. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level on clay-limestone soils. Maceration lasts 25-30 days in stainless steel tanks under constant temperature control. The wine is aged for 24 months in 500-liter oak tonnes and barriques of first use. After bottling, the wine is additionally aged for 4 months in bottles in the cellars of the winery.
