Description
Camporignano, “Mattaione”, Terre di Casole DOC – elegant dry red wine, which is created from Sangiovese grapes grown at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. Harvested by hand when it reaches optimum maturity. After gentle destemming and pressing, the must is placed in steel vats where it is fermented for 22 days at a controlled temperature (max. 28C). The wine is aged for 24 months in large oak barrels with a volume of 2500 liters, then bottled and aged for at least 6 months in the cellars of the winery.
