Description
Cantina de Pra, Pinot Nero – dry red wine made from Pinot Nero grapes grown in the province of Treviso, between the municipalities of Ormelle, Ponte di Piave and Motta di Livenza. Harvest is in the first half of September. At the winery, the grapes are subjected to soft pressing and traditional vinification, including maceration on the skins for 6-8 days. Upon completion of malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in steel tanks for 4-5 months. The wine goes well with meat and game dishes, will make a harmonious pair of mature cheeses.
