Description
Casa di Terra, Vermentino is an elegant white wine produced in Bolgheri, one of the prestigious wine regions of Italy. This wine is distinguished by its characteristic nature, which reflects the terroir and the skill of the winemakers. Bolgheri is famous for its warm Mediterranean climate and exceptional soils rich in minerals. These conditions create an ideal environment for growing grapes and producing outstanding wines. The Vermentino grapes grown in this region give the wine its freshness and bright acidity. A small percentage of Sauvignon Blanc is ideal for finishing and decorating the blend.
When producing wine, 60% of the harvest is pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at 16 C for 15 days. The remaining 40% is fermented with skins for 15 days and left to age for 2 months. Then the final blend is prepared, which matures on yeast lees in steel containers for 5 months.
