Description

Barolo Bricco Rocche “Brunate” – a powerful, rich, well-balanced red wine, which is produced only in the best years. It is made from selected grapes grown in the vineyard “Brunate” in the commune of La Mora at an altitude of 276-342 meters above sea level. This vineyard of Grand Cru Class covers an area of 5.6 hectares and has a south-eastern exposure. Stocking density – 4300 vines / ha. Soils that are rich in magnesium, composed mainly of clay, silt, sand and small amounts. The vines were planted here in 1974. Vinification is fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures for 7-10 days with daily remontazhem. Then the wine is aged for 30 months in small 30 liter oak barrels.

“Brunate” 2008 – the sumptuous wine that can be drunk both young and aged for at least 30 years! Over the years, the elegance of the drink is only strengthened.

Ceretto Wine House is one of the most famous in Piedmont. Ceretto family began to engage in winemaking in the 30 years of the twentieth century, when Ricardo Ceretto moved to Alba. In the 1960s his sons Bruno and Marcello Ceretto continued it had begun to deal with a completely different philosophy, due to the new time, proving their activities, they are the most astute and successful winemakers Piedmont. Throughout his life, Bruno and Marcello dedicated to the promotion of Barolo as an outstanding wine, so they are often called “Brothers of Barolo”.

Today, in the possession of the family Ceretto is nine farms, which produces about 700,000 bottles of wine. The total vineyard area is more than 80 hectares. Each of the nine farms has its own unique style and individual production.
