Description
“Kung Fu Girl” Riesling is a bright, piquant and very aromatic white semi-dry wine made from Riesling grapes. To get such a wine you need a non-standard approach and a winemaker. One evening, Charles, founder of Charles Smith Wines, was eating Chinese takeout and watching a fight scene in an infamous martial arts movie when he had an idea: a killer white wine made specifically for Asian dishes. So the wine “Kung Fu Girl” was born, since then it has been gaining more and more popularity. The Riesling for this wine is harvested at the time of optimum maturity and gently pressed into whole bunches. Fermentation takes place in steel vats at a controlled temperature below 13 C for 10-14 days. The wine is aged on a fine lees for 6 months. After clarification and filtration, the wine is bottled.
