Description
Corte Aleardi, Recioto della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is a sweet red wine obtained by naturally drying the grapes for several months, gently crushing the fruit and fermenting at low temperatures during the winter. The vineyards themselves are located in the hilly area of “Bure Alto” with clay-limestone soils. The grapes are only partially fermented to obtain the desired sugar residue in the wine. After fermentation, the wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least a year and aged for several months after bottling. Only about 1,000 bottles are produced per year.
