Description
“Ordine di San Giuseppe” Barolo DOCG – a powerful, full-bodied, elegant red dry wine made from selected Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Barolo class San Giuseppe vineyard. Limestone soils give the wine an exquisite minerality and subtle acidity. Harvested as the berries reach the optimum level of maturity. The wort is fermented in contact with the skin at a controlled temperature for 20 days. The wine is aged 24 months in huge oak barrels. The rich, juicy taste of Barolo “Ordine di San Giuseppe” makes the wine an excellent companion to meat dishes and mature cheeses.
The small winery Corte Lombardina is part of Sartirano Figli Cantine e Vigneti. It creates a wide range of typical Italian red and white wines: Barolo, Barbaresco, Gavi, Barbera d’Asti, Dolcetto d’Alba. Their distinctive features can be considered an affordable price and decent quality.
