Description
Dry white wine Jean Bouchard, Macon-Villages AOC is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the sun of Burgundy. The vineyards are located in the area between Cte Shalonnez and Mount Solutrean. Slopes region Macon stretched for about 40 km in the south of Burgundy border on the rivers Saone and Grona. Complex soil, the top layer consists of sandstone mixed with marl, lower – limestone substrate. The high salinity of soil produces wines with refreshing minerality on the palate. Harvested by hand. Traditional vinification proceeds in a temperature controlled steel tank vessels at a temperature of 20 C. The maturation of the wine takes place in oak barrels (of which 25-30% – new) on lees with occasional stirring for 12-14 months.
