Description

Fogliati, Langhe Nebbiolo, 2021 is an elegant dry red wine produced from grapes from one of the youngest vineyards of the estate, with 30-year-old vines, located in Castiglione Falletto, in the Pugnane cru area, known for its delicate and refined wines. The Pugnane soils, made up of sandy marls rich in limestone, give the Nebbiolo wines grown here a fragrant aroma and excellent structure, while maintaining finesse, delicacy and softness. The aroma reveals notes of spices, violets and red fruits. The grapes are hand-picked and transported to the winery in small boxes, where they are pressed. Vinification using the submerged cap technique is interpreted from year to year, adapting to the characteristics of a particular vintage. Aging takes place in large Austrian oak barrels. Bottling takes place in the summer following the harvest.
