Description
Vineyard, which is grown Teroldego, occupies 16 hectares of land, planting density – 3000-6000 vines per hectare, the average age of the vines – 40 years. Soil – alluvial, with pebbles and gravel.
“Sgarzo” is translated from the local dialect means “vine”. A distinctive feature of the vineyard Sgarzon is a cool climate, which in turn enriches the character of the Teroldego and gives it an extraordinary freshness. Fermentation of grapes and primary exposure for 8 months is carried in amphoras. Then the wine is kept for 3 months old oak casks. Terrific beverages, elegant red wine “Sgarzon” 2010 is recommended to drink from 2015 to 2022.
