Description

Wine “Albe” born in the foothills of the Alps stretches in Piedmont – one of the cozy and popular part of Italy. Piedmont is a kind of calling card of wine, combining several finest wineries. “Albe” – this is true Barolo, combines the maturity, depth and freshness. “Alba” is made from Nebbiolo grapes, which are harvested from three vineyards – Fossati, Costa de La Vergne and Volta. Vines are young enough, which is why wine, having excellent taste and aroma, it turns out not too dense. Grape fermentation lasts from 30 to 40 days, the fermentation temperature is not controlled, but does not exceed 32 C. Aged in barrels of Slavonian oak takes about 36 months.

Integral part of the wine of Piedmont is the family Vajra – owners of the company Azienda Agricola GDVajra. Family owns 28 hectares of land, which in 1972 carefully cultivated by them. Today hosts are Aldo and Milena Vaira – couple standing at the origins of manufacture flawless, balanced wines that are a reward for their dedication. Undoubtedly, wine Vajra reflect the soul of their masters, who spared no effort, with care and love sincerely engaged in business all his life. Wine farms are characterized by their maturity and openness.
