Line of wines “Borgeri” – it is a pure and simple expression of the terroir of Bolgheri region. The name they got thanks to the ancient writing Bolgheri like Borger, specified on a map, drawn by Leonardo da Vinci during one of his many expeditions in 1453. Fingerprint Giorgio Meletti Cavallari on the wine label – a kind of “quality mark”, guaranteed by the master.
Creating wine “Borgeri” Rosato began with gambling experiment to produce the drink for any occasion. Grape pressing takes place at a lower temperature to preserve the natural natural flavor. After settling into the must wine yeast is added and fermentation is carried out with temperature control. Subsequently, the wine is aged on fine lees for 4 months and after bottling – even 3 months in cool storage. Potential storage “Borger” Rosato is 2-3 years.
