Description
“Ignaccio”, Rosso di Montalcino – young, fresh and fruity wine, which is produced from grapes that are not selected for the production of Brunello. The method of manufacturing these two wines is also similar. But, compared to the “older brother”, Rosso di Montalcino has a less complex characteristics. Sangiovese is grown at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level on soils rich in coarse sea sand and various minerals. After fermentation in steel tanks for 20-22 days, the wine is aged 8 months in large oak barrels and six months in bottles.
