Description
Latium Morini, Soave DOC, 2014 – young and very elegant white wine with a fresh, expressive varietal aroma and balanced, harmonious taste. The blend is dominated by wine grapes Garganega (80%), which provides a structure brings fruit theme with hints of citrus, peach and apricot and forms the mineral character of the wine. Complements blend grapes Trebbiano di Soave (20%), which gives a special flavor of the drink. In Italy, a blend of white wines are well known under the name Soave Bland and now it is very popular not only within the country but also around the world, offering consumers a flavorful, refreshing and very harmonious wine.
The grapes for making wine is collected from 25-30 year old vines grown in vineyards in Mezzine at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level. Planting density of 4,500 vines per hectare, the yield per hectare of 60 hl. Soils are mostly of vineyards and alluvial limestone that gives the wine a special minerality. Harvest in late September, at optimum ripeness and immediately gently pressed. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 15-16 C for 15 days.
