Wine “La Madonnina”, Toscana IGT Rosso, 2021

Description

“Inferno” – wine with a strong character, an aromatic fullness and firm structure, rigor and tannins which are balanced with a soft texture. The name of the wine, probably comes from the unique conditions of the terroir in which the grapes are grown varieties Nebbiolo. The vineyards are located on a small terrace in the rocky gorges, one of the most remote areas of the Valtellina Superiore. Another feature is the very high temperatures in summer. Sandy loam soils with low humus content is favorable for grapes with strong aroma and, in the future, wine with good structure, which only strengthens the hold for 18-24 months in oak barrels. “Inferno” can be stored 8-10 years. Before use, we recommend opening the bottle or decanting for 2 hours.
