  • Latium Morini, “Due Mori”, Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOC, 2008 – aged red wine, very rich and seductive. The wine is produced in limited quantities and only in the best years, when the harvest reaches of exceptional quality. The first release of the wine took place in 2008 in the amount of only 1997 bottles. Blend wine is selected grape varieties Corvina (70%) and Rondinella (20%), grown in the production area of Amarone della Valpolicella DOC. Grape vines with an average age of 16 to 20 years, growing at an altitude of 180-200 meters above sea level in the vicinity of Illasi and Mezzane di Sotto. The yield per hectare of 25 hl.

    Grapes for wine are harvested by hand with a rigorous selection of berries that have reached the necessary maturity. Further drying of the grapes takes place in small boxes with a capacity of 5-6 kg in special climate-controlled rooms for 100-120 days. Soft pressing of the grapes is carried out in mid-January. After cold maceration is carried out at a controlled temperature of fermentation 18-25 C for 10-15 days with frequent remontazhem wort. Matured wine in 225-500 liters oak barrels from France and North America for 42 months. Before the implementation of a further 12 months the wine rests in bottles. The potential for wine storage is 10 years.
