Description
The basis of the wine “Alba de Luces” Crianza is the Tempranillo grape grown in the Rioja region and giving the drink structure. The combination with the Garnacha variety is considered classic for Spanish blends. The company’s vineyards are located at a high altitude (300-600 meters above sea level). The vines are planted on soils that are a mixture of clay and limestone. The grapes are harvested mechanically. Vinification includes a 10-day fermentation with strict temperature control (about 28 C) and an 18-day maceration. All processes are carried out in steel tanks. Then the wine is poured into American oak barrels, where it matures for at least 12 months. Before sale, the wine additionally spends at least 6 months in bottles.
