  • Wine Melini, Chianti, created with the help of modern special production methods, embodies the essence of old Tuscany. Wine is made from grapes Sangiovese Grosso, grown in the most famous and most iconic of all Italian wine region – Tuscany, in central Italy. Vineyards with high density planting located on limestone and marl soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted. Part of grapes is subjected podvyalivaniyu immediately in the vineyard and then whole bunches added to the wort. Fermentation takes place under strictly controlled temperature, which adds to the guilt of greater complexity. Chianti is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and an additional few months in the bottle. Extraordinary freshness and power makes this Chianti original and attractive.

Melini wine house was founded in 1705 on the outskirts of Florence, in the village of Pontassieve. Melini wine immediately became famous for their high quality, but until the middle of the XIX century they were delivered only to the domestic market, while in 1865, Alfredo Laborel Melini has not created a woven straw wafer bottle, allowing safe transport of wine abroad. In 1877, the Chamber of Commerce awarded the Florence House Melini diploma and a gold medal for the development and strengthening of the vast markets of Tuscan wines abroad. House Melini has confirmed its excellent reputation, and still produces some of the best-selling wines in the world. At the beginning of the XX century Melini to expand their holdings and bought about 200 hectares of vineyards in the Chianti Classico, and built a new winery in Gadzhiano di Poggibonsi, where they remain to this day. Melini is a part of GRUPPO ITALIANO VINI (“Group of Italian wines”).
