Description
Monte Maletto, “Vecchie Tonneaux” Vino Bianco is a white wine produced in Careme from the Erbaluce grape variety. It is grown in a small plot located at an altitude of 400 meters above sea level. The grapes are hand-picked, pressed and then fermented in steel tanks for 15 days, after which the wine is poured into used barrels, where it is aged for about 13 months with regular btonnage. The wine is then bottled and aged for another 4 months. “Vecchie Tonneaux” has a fresh and complex aroma with notes of mint and beeswax with hints of citrus fruits, which serves as a prelude to a subtle, seductive and piquant taste, ending with pleasant almond nuances. The wine is recommended to be consumed at a temperature of 8-10 C in tulip-shaped glasses.
