Description
“Il Pareto”, 2010 – red dry wine from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon. Wines started in Tuscany from international grape varieties, called Supertuscan. Grapes for wine production “Il Pareto” Notstsole grown in the farm “Il Pareto.” – It is a pure expression of what can demonstrate the variety Cabernet Sauvignon from Greve in Chianti. The wine is produced in very small quantities and only in exceptionally favorable years. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 350 meters above sea level. Alcoholic fermentation with a 15-day maceration takes place at a controlled temperature of 26-28 C in stainless steel containers. After malolactic fermentation the wine is aged in barriques (225 liters) of French oak for 16-18 months and at least six months in bottles. wine storage potential of up to 30 years.
Vintage 2010 took 21 place among the 50 in the classification of “Best Italian Wine Awards 2014”.
The estate Tenuta di Nozzole located 30 km south of Florence in the Chianti Classico zone. Folonari family acquired an estate in the property in 1971. Tenuta di Nozzole area is 385 hectares, which includes more than 90 hectares of vineyards and about 15 hectares of olive groves. In addition to the wines of Chianti Classico “Notstsole” is made “Il Pareto” Chianti Classico “Villa Notstsole” , vinsanto del Chianti, Chardonnay “Le Brunico” and Chianti Classico Riserva “La Forro” .
Wine History Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari began at the end of the XVIII century with Fratelli Folonari, who took on the mission to improve wine production and distribution of the best Italian wines worldwide. Since that time the firm has been a lot of ups and downs, different owners, but still Folonari is one of the most representative wine firms Tuscany. In 1912 Ambrogio grandfather – Italo Folonari and his brother Francesco bought the Tuscan company Ruffino, famous Chianti wine production in the bottle braided straw. In the late 60-ies Folonari family sold the company Fratelli Folonari, mainly produces table wines, and began to specialize in the manufacture of wine “estate-bottled”.
In 2000, Ambrogio segregated from Ruffino and founded with his son holding Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which included the best farms in Tuscany:

– The estate Tenuta Vigne a Porrona, producing wine Montecucco, Morellino, Syrah, Merlot.
Wines Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari have a contemporary style, each of the wines has a distinct territorial identity.
