  • “Jumpin ‘Juice” is a collaborative project between Patrick Sullivan and other prominent Australian winemakers who share Patrick’s view that wine should be as natural as possible. Jumpin ‘Juice wines are always alive, full of healthy energy and balance.

    “Jumpin ‘Juice” Half Full Red is a collaboration between naturalist winemakers Patrick Sullivan and Xavier Goodridge, two longtime companions who now both make natural wines in Gippsland, Victoria. Each of them has developed their own style, so the wine is intended for fans of both winemakers. Dry red wine “Jumpin ‘Juice” Half Full Red is not a classic version of the powerful Australian Shiraz, which is already hinted at by the very name of the wine (“Half Red”), it is a lighter, more delicate and juicy version. However, from year to year, the blend changes slightly, so winemakers are trying to prove that some wines are intended only for enjoyment, and not for thinking about composition. The vineyard and the cellar adhere to organic and biodynamic practices with minimal interference with the natural process. Respect for the vineyards has a beneficial effect on the quality of the harvest, allowing you to harvest healthy, juicy fruits full of aroma and taste. Overall, the cool climate of Gippsland has seen winemakers experimenting with red varieties with great success, creating a variety of styles, from light and elegant to more muscular and tannic. Harvested when the berries reach optimum ripeness. Wine is produced by spontaneous fermentation under the influence of wild yeast. The wine is bottled with minimal addition of sulfur, without pasting and filtration.
