Description

For the manufacture of light and refreshing wine Piccini, Orvieto Classico DOC, the manufacturer uses grape varieties Grechetto, Procanico and Chardonnay, grown in a vineyard located in Umbria. After harvesting the grapes are transported to the winery for careful sorting, subsequent grinding and pressing, after which the wort is cleaned. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation at a strictly controlled temperature, which helps the wine to preserve fresh fruit notes in taste and aroma.

The tradition of the Piccini winery begins in 1882 with Anjiolo Piccini and a small family estate of only 7 hectares.
