Description
For the production of wine “Vigneto Ca ‘Bordenis” Bardolino Classico from the company Santi used grapes grown in the heart of Bardolino Classico, where historically produced wine since the Bronze Age. According to legend, the name of the place comes from the name of the German princess Bardal, the king’s daughter and granddaughter Argonaut Auleto Manto – founder of Mantua. Wine “Vigneto Ca ‘Bordenis” takes its name from an old house in the town of Bardolino, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and cypresses. The production of this wine was launched in 1975.
Vineyard “vignette Ca ‘Bordenis” is in Calmasino, at an altitude of 130 m above sea level, overlooking Lake Garda. This vineyard is seen by many as an example of a highly effective management and maintenance of agricultural and power Bardolino use it to keep track of the climatic conditions and the maturity of the grapes.
