Description
Secondo Marco, Valpolicella Classico is an elegant wine with good aromatic complexity and extraordinary drinkability, which can be used as an unpretentious wine for every day. The grapes for its production are grown at the foot of the Fumane Valley, at an altitude of 170 meters above sea level, on clay-limestone soil. The harvest is harvested by hand, quickly transported to the winery and immediately pressed. Spontaneous fermentation, lasting 15-20 days, with maceration at low temperatures, takes place in truncated-cone-shaped steel containers. Aging is carried out in several stages: 12 months in 50 hl cement tanks, 6 months in 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels and 9 months in bottles after bottling.
