Description
“Sori Paitin”, Barbaresco is created from the popular grape variety in Piedmont Nebbiolo. The wine is both powerful and elegant, rich and balanced, with ripe, velvety tannins and a long finish. Despite the fact that the wine is “Sory Paytin” Barbaresco over the years is highly appreciated expert winemakers Giovanni and Silvano Paschero Elia looked for ways to make the drink even better. To create a vintage 2010 they invited oenologist Dante Scaglione, with whom he achieved excellent results: the wine can claim to be one of the best produced in the Barbaresco.
Grapes for wine production “Sori Paytin” Barbaresco Serraboella collected in the vineyard in the commune of Neiva. The vines were planted here in the period from 1953 to 1984, the stocking density of 4,600 vines per hectare. Processing vineyards conducted only organic methods, is also supported by the low productivity of the vines to improve the quality of grapes. Nebbiolo grapes grown on clay-limestone soils, according to wine, fruit and delicate floral fragrance, which over time becomes even more difficult. The taste of wine as a special – it combines the power, the strength, power and elegance. Cathedral crop is held in September. Fermentation and maceration is carried out in stainless steel fermentors rotating at 26-30 C for 10-12 days. Maturing wine is in barrels of Slavonian oak (50% of which – new) for 18 months. Final 2 months the wine spends in stainless steel tanks. Before bottling the wine is not filtered. According to experts’ Sori Paitin “Barbaresco 2010 will reveal its full potential in the period 2018-2030 years.
