Description
Domaine de la Renardiere, Ploussard is a sophisticated but elegant wine with a beautiful fruit and berry aroma and a fresh, long-lasting taste. The wine is made from the Pussard grape (also called Pulsar). This grape has a very thin skin with a small amount of color pigments, so the red wines from Plyusar have a pale color and are also used to make white wines. The grapes for making wine are harvested by hand, sorted and gently pressed. Fermentation with natural yeast begins in steel tanks, and ends in large oak barrels. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12-18 months and 3-6 months in bottles. Plyusar storage capacity is 4-5 years.
