Bruno Giacosa, Barbera d’Alba, 2013 – well-balanced, juicy wine with a rich aroma and a bright, generous taste. The wine is produced from grapes Barbera, which is bought from the local wine-growers with whom Bruno Giacosa long-term contracts. The process of making wine takes place in accordance with centuries-old local tradition. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted. For the fermentation and aging used steel tanks. Barbera d’Alba Maturation takes place in the cellars of the economy in Neiva.

Bruno Giacosa – the third generation of the glorious wine family – a perfectionist who, possessing enormous wealth of knowledge, experience and traditions, with picky and care related to each part of the process of wine production, from the selection of the vineyard to bottling. The winery is owned by Bruno, produces wines under two labels: “Bruno Giacosa” and “Azienda Agricola Falletto”. For the first grapes are purchased from local wine-growers – owners of prestigious vineyards, and Bruno himself monitors the quality of the delivered grapes. Wines produced from second grade harvest from its own vineyards, occupying an area of twenty hectares in Serralunga d’Alba, La Morra and Barbaresco.
Cellars winery is located in Neive. They are furnished with the latest technology, which does not prevent, however, produce a wine that retains its individuality with respect to the centuries-old traditions. In 1980, Bruno started the production of sparkling white wine by the method “Champenoise”, which proved to be very successful and popular.
