Wine Urlari, “Ritasso” Sangiovese, Toscana IGT, 2017

Description

Urlari, “L’Urlo” Merlot is an elegant dry red wine, in the production of which winemakers use selected Merlot grapes grown in the company’s vineyards in Tuscany. Harvesting is carried out when the berries reach the optimum level of ripeness. At the winery, the fruits are carefully sorted, the stems and leaves are removed, after which they are delicately pressed and vinified. Fermentation with regular pumping of wine must (every 6 hours) is carried out in temperature-controlled conical stainless steel tanks and lasts 2 weeks. The wine is aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels, and then another 12 months in bottles before going on sale.
The annual production volume is 3000 bottles.
