Description
Red dry wine Nervi, “Molsino”, Gattinara DOCG is created from the cultivated Molsino of the Nebbiolo variety grown in the same vineyard. The site is located at an altitude of 350-420 meters above sea level and covers an area of 13.4 hectares. Wine is made from excellent quality berries that are soft pressed and crushed after harvesting. The wine is fermented partly in oak, and partly in cement vats. Apple-milk fermentation is carried out in cement tanks. The wine goes through several stages of aging: the first – for four years in barrels, with a volume of 10-20 hl, a short second period is in the cement tank, and in conclusion the wine is aged for 6-12 months in bottles before entering the market.
