  • “Vipra” Bianca, 2012 – very young wine, having, in spite of this, complex and perfectly balanced elegant taste with soft tannins and a very special freshness. The aroma of wine will be pleasantly surprised with colorful tones of acacia flowers, honey, almond and citrus. Wine is made from grapes Grechetto and Chardonnay grown in the hilly terrain at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. Harvest was subjected to alcoholic fermentation with the selected yeasts in stainless steel vats at a temperature of 14-16 C. This procedure lasts 3 weeks. After that, the wine is kept in steel tanks for several months.

Wine Bigi family history began in 1880 with a man named Luigi Bigi, by which the region of Orvieto became known throughout Italy and abroad. The estate, once owned by the monastery La Trinita, is located in a very picturesque area on a hill of volcanic origin. Orvieto area has long been characterized by a unique microclimate, so for centuries here cultivated cultivation of the vine, which has begun the Etruscans. The first documentary evidence of this dates back to 1292. Three years after it was created by a special committee official called “Keepers of the vineyards”, designed to monitor the preservation of quality vines. And ingenuity oenologist in Orvieto has led to the rapid development of technology – construction of underground galleries, using the techniques of pressing the berries at ground level.
