Description

“Wien. 2” – a great red wine from the family winery Pfafl that will surprise you with a rich palette of taste and superb fragrant bouquet. Named after the legendary Austrian capital and created far from it, the wine is the best wine-making tradition is Austria. “Wien. 2” is produced from the popular Austrian grape variety Tsvaygel with the addition of Pinot Noir. Tsvaygel not only adds color saturated purple wine created from a special wine characterized by soft tannins. The grapes for the creation of “Vienna. 2” is grown in areas “Herrenholz” and “Praschen”, which is dominated by calc-sandy soils. Crop harvested in late September after delicate spin wort is fermented in the skin in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature (28 C) for 20 days. Wine is aged for three months, and 80% – in steel vats, and 20% – in oak barriques previously used for the maturation of wine.
